Why Voting Is Vital
This is a political post.
If you are interesting in supporting good over evil, please scroll down.
Bo Hines is the Republican nominee for the United States House of Representatives in North Carolina.
From the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee:
Hines wants victims of rape and incest to go through “a community-level review process outside the jurisdiction of the federal government” to determine if they can get an abortion.
“Bo Hines would make women and girls who have already experienced horrific trauma beg for their right to get an abortion from a panel of complete strangers,” said DCCC spokesperson Monica Robinson.
And this, this, is the kind of pure evil the Republican party has devolved to.
I feel ill.
On Tuesday, I’m voting a straight line Democratic ticket. For, Democrats have a long history of helping people, not abusing them.
Oh, and my life right now has been saved by Medicare. This is a program created by Democrats, a program which has been under constant threat by Republicans ever since its creation in 1965.

I will vote for every Democrat whose name appears as such on my ballot, and as close as I can get in the nonpartisan races. Unfortunately, there are a couple of races in my corner of my wannabe-shithole state that have no Democratic candidate. In these races, I will vote for the Libertarian candidate if there is one.
The extreme Godawfulness of the Republican Party in Arkansas has brought more Libertarians out of the woodwork than usual, and the Greens have withered away. Sarah Huckabeest Sanders promises to be at least as lamentable a governor as her father was.
I don’t often have the chance to vote to win, but I certainly have opportunities to vote to decrease a deplorable’s margin of victory.
Oof. I’m so sorry about SHS. If it’s any consolation, I fear greatly that we’re about to end up with Walker over Warnock here in GA. (Probably the word “consolation” isn’t the one I want – more like “misery loves company”?)
I voted the first day the early polls opened in Georgia and voted straight Dem all down the ticket.
Right now anyone voting Republican is voting against their own best interest – even straight white men are ultimately voting against themselves. Even if they don’t see it right now.
I voted straight Democrat. I’m working the polls. Vote, donate, volunteer.
I voted straight Democrat in early voting.
Going to a poll training class tomorrow and working a full day on Tuesday!
May the force be with the candidates who will help create the highest and best quality of life for the greatest numbers of people, and for the Earh and all beings.
I am lucky to be in a blue state but I still make sure I go vote and preserve it!!
Same here. Voting straight Democrat all the way down.
We must save—
Democracy
Sanity
Medicare
Social Security
The Planet
Decency
Bravo Karen Spencer! Well and succinctly said!
I’ll be voting straight Democrat, our country can’t survive with Republicans in the majority.
