A Black White View

Rick wondered what the Cross House would look like in a black/white image.

I almost expect to see HC and Susan come out the front door…and they would certainly be smiling at their beautiful house.

I walked by the house last night and am in awe at what you are doing. So glad that the outside is getting the attention. You’re amazing.

When you’ve finished are you going to try to get the same angle as in the original 1894 image? I do love comparisons.

I wonder the same, but can’t wait! Maybe… Now?

Where do you get your venetian blinds, and what color/finish are they? We are still a ways off from new window treatments, but I am planning to start restoring our old windows next month and I like the way those blinds look with the dark sashes.

The black/white photos are fun! Wistfully nostalgic.

I think the photo steps back in time, feels older than it is. It also may help compare color placement using light and dark shades instead of actual color. She is getting “Crisper” every day.

I think you need a picture of a current car and friends to recreate the vintage photo you already have from the Mouse family. You are part of the house history now. You will be remembered.
