Before. After.

I had the 1930s chandelier in storage for many, many years. It was missing its ceiling canopy and shades. I had hoped to find an original catalog image to ascertain what I needed. But after so many years I thought: Get this beauty listed for sale! I love the leaf detail on the bottom, and atop the stem. Note, too, the astonishing finial. And what did Ross come up with?

ZOUNDS! Looks perfect. The fixture sold the day after I listed it. Confirming the wisdom of Ross.

The fixture is a mood, a drift of voices of the past on a breeze. What a beauty!

No one would know they are not original to the piece and it is a shame to let such a lovely fixture languish for lack of shades and a canopy. Kudos for giving it a new life. Your choices, as always, are spot on.
