CH: Day 149

As y’all know, I decided to infill below the area to the right of the door with lap-siding, and painted in the historic colors. This though…EEK!!!!!!!!…means…EEK!!!!!!!!…dealing with lead paint.

I figured that I needed 18 lengths of siding. I pre-cut these to width, hauled them into the basement of the big house, liberally coated them with paint stripper, and left them to soak overnight. On Tuesday, I will apply a second coat of stripper, liberally.
Then, I should be able to remove the old paint with the absolute minimum of exposure. I will safely dispose of the tainted glop.
Geez, the things I do for beauty.
Oh! I think this will be my new drag name: Miss Tainted Glop.

That is a better name than Miss Lead Poisoned.
That’s probably a better name than Miss Gloppy Taint–which is, incidentally, a potential side-effect of SGLT2-inhibitors such as Jardiance® and Farxiga®.
Speaking of lead levels: are yours still going down or will they only test it once in a blue moon? Are you feeling any difference as they go down?
Hi, June! Please see here.
Hee hee, I like Miss Tainted Glop very much.
