Favorite Houses: 1015 State

Under the growth, under the jungle, under the camouflage, there is a house.

I suspect it is a fabulous house. I suspect, rather than know, because the house is almost entirely hidden under a wild green cover.

1015 State. There real is a house in there. Somewhere.

Ahhh, tantalizing bits of architecture appear.

Ah-ha!!!! Ah-ha!!!! Tantalizing bits of architecture appear!!!!

Yummy. The substantial and gorgeously-detailed columns remind me of the work of prairie school architect George Maher.

And more is revealed. But, sigh, not a lot. But, this is a very large, high-quality home. A stunning home. A magnificent home. I would kill to see more.
